Fort Petroleum is an independent land service company comprised of an experienced management team, together with a top-tier group of field land professionals. Since its inception, Fort Petroleum has earned the trust of many energy companies, and their land departments, through dedicated service and participation in a multitude of projects across the Permian Basin and other energy-producing regions of the United States.

Lane M. Fort
Lane was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, where he entered the oil and gas business in early 2012 working as an independent landman. By late 2016, Lane was a partner at the brokerage firm he had been associated with for nearly 5 years prior, and was instrumental in opening and growing the company's Permian Basin office. Lane later founded Fort Petroleum with the ambition to be a highly trusted and preferred land service provider headquartered in the heart of the most prolific basin in the U.S.
Lane lives in Midland, Texas with his wife, Neeley, and their three children. He is a Registered Professional Landman and active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, Permian Basin Landman’s Association and Permian Basin Petroleum Association.
Kamron brings a wealth of industry knowledge and skilled leadership to the Fort Petroleum team. With over 15 years of experience in land management, Kamron has managed dozens of projects in the petroleum and renewable energy sectors spanning multiple regions across the United States. Kamron is a Registered Professional Landman and an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, Permian Basin Landmen’s Association, and previously served as President of the Panhandle Association of Petroleum Landmen and Director to the AAPL.
In addition to his experience as a landman, Kamron is a Co-Founder of Our Children’s Blessing, a non-profit that provides financial assistance to families that have experienced infant loss. Kamron is happily married to Diana, and together they are the proud parents of a son and daughter.
Raised in Big Spring, Texas, Micah is a Permian Basin native. Micah has been working with Lane Fort since 2017 and has quickly risen through the ranks. Micah has experience managing title, leasing, curative, right-of-way, solar and due diligence projects, and works closely with clients and field personnel to ensure our clients’ goals are met.
Micah currently resides in Midland, Texas with his wife and son.
